Noir Nation! Usher is shutting down circulated claims across social media after nearly 6,000 of his previous tweets suddenly vanished over the weekend just days after Diddy’s federal indictment in New York City for sex trafficking and racketeering!
News of Usher’s deleted tweets spread like wildfire on Sunday, September 21st as social media users accused the singer of wiping his Twitter (X) account clean due to his longtime friend and mentor’s recent arrest. Though the 45-year-old hasn’t publicly addressed Diddy’s exceeding legal troubles, he did take to social media in an attempt to clear his name while revealing that his account had been hacked.
“Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” wrote Usher.
According to reports from Vice Usher’s was mentioned in a recently filed civil lawsuit against Diddy by former Danity Kane group member Dawn Richard. She alleges that Usher witnessed Diddy’s domestic violence against his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Though Usher is currently in the thick of his highly anticipated ‘Past, Present, Future’ world tour, it hasn’t stopped dated interviews of him discussing his longstanding friendship with Diddy from trending throughout social media.
Usher previously revealed that early on in his career he had lived with Diddy for a year in New York City in efforts of learning about the music industry.
In a 2016 interview with Howard Stern Usher recalled living with Diddy in the early 1990s as he shared witnessing, “very curious things.”
“I got a chance to see some things,” said Usher. ” I don’t know if I could Indulge and even understand what I was looking at.”
In a previous interview with Rolling Stone from 2004 Usher said that when he lived with Diddy, ” there were always girls around.”
“You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.”
Usher is amongst a list of fellow celebrity attendees of Diddy’s highly publicized parties throughout the years. Resurfaced photographs include images of Dame Dash, the late Aaliyah, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Teyana Taylor, Chris Brown, Russell Simmons, Kim Kardashian, and many more.
As we previously reported Diddy is currently in custody after being denied bail twice. He has since been placed on mandatory suicide watch as he awaits trial for federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Despite entering a not-guilty plea and denying all allegations in the multiple civil complaints against him, Diddy continues to rack up further lawsuits as additional accusers have come forward.
