Eva Marcille Hosts Essence Annual House Of Fashion In Celebration Of NYFW!

Eva Marcille has been outside giving real-life art for NYFW 🎨

The original diva hosted Essence’s 6th annual Fashion House this year on Friday, September 6th, helping to welcome hundreds of Black Creatives and fashion innovators in the heart of New York City.

The 39-year-old engaged with audience members as she introduced various celebrity panelists-— effortlessly serving a variant of looks all on brand for the theme of Luxury Undefined.

Eva hit the stage with a series of outfit changes throughout the evening; beginning with a flawless and delicate flower child look from Badgley Mischka. The Black dress was perfectly covered with different multi-colored flowers.

Her second look of the night consisted of a plaid patterned skirt and a matching corset. She ended the evening wearing a vintage look from Nicole Miller NYC consisting of a leather jacket over a red and Black dress.

Ahead of Essence’s Fashion Eva has shared a video clip of her from a previous ESSENCE interview where she spoke on not being afraid to step out of the box.

As a trailblazer throughout her career, Eva has always been vocal staying true to your authentic self. “When we give ourselves permission to be ourselves, we open the door for others to do the same!”

The Los Angeles native popped out on Saturday night September 7th in celebration of Fashion Bomb Daily‘s annual ‘The Bomb Fashion Show’ serving an all Black leather look paired with Black open-toe heels.

Today’s kids may know Eva as an actress but the real ones knoe ‘Eva The Diva’ has been eating the fashion girlies up for quite some time.

Eva got an early start into the fashion and modeling scene at just 20 years old after winning the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model.

Though it has been two decades since her historic win, photos from Eva shoots while on the beloved reality series are classified as some of the most memorable editorial shots to date.
