According to the Washington Post; Chrystul Kizer, 19 has recently admitted to the murder of Randy Volar, 34. Sources have confirmed that the two had met 2016 prior to his 2018 death; through the once notorious sex trafficking website of BackPage. Kizer who was 16 at the time says she told Volar that she was 19 years old when the two had first began talking. Kizer later states that she knows that Volar was aware that she was much younger based off of the things he did and said.

Reports read that Kizer grew up within a broken home where her mother and her siblings were abused by her mom’s boyfriend. After fleeing their initial hometown with her family Kizer began looking for ways to make money. It has been indicated that she needed money for school books and snacks. That’s when she decided to link with Volar.

Kizer states that the two had sex multiple times in which she does not remember a specific count of how many times it took place. Volar initially paid her $500.00 the very first time and different amounts as time went on. She goes on to state that it wasn’t long before Volar began selling her on the internet to have sex with men his age or much older than her. Volar instructed Kizer to get the money first, spend 30 minutes with each customer and then contact him. She was unaware of how much money he was fully making on her behalf.

A few years later down the line Kizer states that she wanted to change and didn’t want to deal with Volar anymore. It has been revealed that Kizer also had a boyfriend at the time so she began to distance herself. Officials state that Volar threatened to kill Kizer for pulling away from him to be with her boyfriend Delane Nelson, 22. She never contacted the police because she believed they would be of no help within her situation.

It was in June of 2018 that Kizer had contacted Volar again. She states that she told Volar that she had gotten into a physical confrontation with Nelson and wanted to get away from him. The couple had past incidents of public abuse.

“I had went into the house.… He had ordered some pizza. We were smoking, and he asked me if I wanted to drink any liquor,” she said in Milwaukee court. “And then he had gave me this drug. I don’t know what it’s called. And after that, we started to watch movies.… And then, the drug, it made me feel weird or whatever.”

Kizer states that Volar began to touch her within an attempt to have sex and when she told him no he began to attack her. She states he pinned her to the ground and began pulling off her clothes. Kizer states she managed to wiggle away from him grabbed a pistol that she got from her boyfriend and shoot Volar twice in his head. Reports read that Kizer also burned Volar’s house down with his dead body inside and then took off in his BMW.

Kizer confessed to Volar’s murder in less than a week in which she was charged with arson and first-degree intentional homicide, which results in automatic life sentence in Wisconsin.

Volar was previously arrested for charges of child sexual assault. He was taken into custody after an incident occurred between him and a15 year old girl that he issued drugs to and threatened to kill her. After a thorough investigation officials discovered not only was Volar leading a sex trafficking ring, but that that he had abused a long list of young black girls. There were countless video recording of himself committing sexual acts with under age girls. However l Volar was released without bail and never charged. The day his body was discovered was the exact same day he was allegedly going to be charged.

As of today Kizer’s attorney has attempted to apply the affirmative defense law on her case. Which is only of valuable use to acquit sex trafficking victims if they can prove they committed a crime because they were being trafficked.

Unfortunately the prosecution team has argued that Volar’s murder was premeditated. Deriving from statements Kizer had made publicly on social media and conversations she held with her boyfriend it has been indicated that she strategize on how to hide the body.

Kizer is currently being held on $1 million bail. She’s set to begin trial in February 2020.
