Beyoncé’ Seemingly Snubbed From Country Music Awards; Received Zero Nominations!

Noir Nation, the Country Music Awards nominations have officially rolled in leaving eyebrows raised across social media as folks have noticed Beyoncé‘s name was left out from the list!

Monday’s announcement of CMA nominees left hundreds of thousands of fans shocked following the success of Beyoncé’s chart-topping album ‘Cowboy Carter’. The project was released back in March and is marked as Beyonce’s first full country music album.

Beyoncé collaborated with popular Black country music artists such as pioneer Linda Martell and rising artists Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tiera Kennedy, Tanner Adell and Shaboozey, reports NBC News.

Following news of the CMA nomination’s Shaboozey took to Twitter X to write, “Thank you @Beyonce for opening a door for us, starting a conversation, and giving us one of the most innovative country albums of all time!”

The two collaborated on two songs for ‘Cowboy Carter. Shaboozey received two received two nominations a part of this year’s CMAs. His song “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” was nominated for single of the year and he was nominated for new artist of the year, reports NBC News.

As we previously reported Beyoncé shared earlier this year that ‘Cowboy Carter’ was released out of the frustration she felt years ago by feeling unwelcomed in the musical genre. “The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me.”

Though the 43-year-old never directly stated which incident she’s referring to, fans believe her experience stems from the backlash she received in 2016 after performing her song ‘Daddy Issues’ at the CMAs alongside the country group The Chicks.
