Florida Breaks Record For Worst Covid Outbreak In The U.S; Reportedly 24,753 New Cases!

The state of #Florida has officially broken a new case record for the third week in a row following reports that a total of 24,753 residents have tested positive for covid!

Despite Florida making up roughly around 6.5% of the U.S population, it has been indicated that the state is responsible for 18.7% new cases across the country; confirms reports from the CDC.

According to Miami Herald , as of Tuesday Aug. 10, confirmed data of the state’s seven-day moving average of new cases was 21,156 surpassing the average of cases 3,701 reported on July 10.

It has been stated that the new data makes up for roughly a 472% increase, deriving from the contagiousness of the delta variant.

A total of four new deaths have been reported.

As of Wednesday August 11th of thr reported 10,704,107 Florida residents 49.8% of them have completed the two-dose series of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna, and /or have completed Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine, reports the CDC.
