Power Book III: Raising Kanan Officially Renewed For A Fifth Seasom With The Starz Network!

Cousins! Congratulations are in order for the cast and crew of ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan following confirmed reports that the series has been renewed for an official fifth season with the Starz network!

The news was confirmed by Deadline Wednesday afternoon on March 27th, announcing the series early renewal. Reports read that the show is currently undergoing production for its fourth season at this time.

“We know that our fans can’t get enough of Raising Kanan. As the inevitable evolution of this young man into a killer plays out, we knew we had much more backstory to share in this ever-escalating family saga,” said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz.

“As we continue to expand the storytelling within the Power universe, we’re looking forward to how this story may intersect with other Power characters during this prequel era.”

Earlier this month the Starz network dropped two bombshell announcements confirming the fourth and final season of Power Book II: Ghost, due to alleged budget cuts. Also a new entry into the power universe is in the works.

“This explosive season of ‘Ghost’ is a fitting crescendo in a decade of an immensely popular franchise – fans will not be disappointed,” Kathryn previously stated.
