Cousins! Is it safe to say fans can begin counting down until the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria?
According to a newly released interview featuring actress Sydney Sweeney for British GQ, Euphoria is set to begin shooting for the upcoming season in the next few months.
Sydney who plays the emotionally unstable character of Cassie Howard, expressed that fans will be pleased with the final product despite the prolonged delay. “People will be amazed with what season three becomes.”
Though she didn’t give away any crucial details, Sydney confirmed that Season 3 will be a bit different, “I think that’s good because seasons one and two were so different.”
As for a fourth season Sydney shares she is unsure of if that’ll happen.
“I think that if there’s more story to tell with Cassie then, yes, because I do love that role and I love the community, but it’s whatever does the story justice,” said the 26-year-old.
According to USA Today there’s been no official word on returning cast members for the upcoming season. Actress Barbie Ferreira who played Katt Hernandez, confirmed in 2021 that she will no longer be a part of the series. As we previously reported Angus Cloud who portrayed tge role of Fezco tragically passed away following an accidental drug overdose.
However, it has been confirmed that Zendaya will return for her starring role as Rue Bennet.
