Tyler Perry Offers Cocoa Brown $400K Towards Her New Home After Her House Burns Down!

Cousins! Actress Cocoa Brown is expressing her extreme gratitude to friends and fans who have been sending her an outpour of love following the devastating loss of her home due to a fire!

In a statement to TMZ, Cocoa expresses great sadness following the burning of her home on Sunday. Nonetheless, Cocoa says that she is thankful that she, her son Phoenix and her fur babies are safe.

“Having each other, our fur babies, and seeing and feeling all this love has strengthened our love for each other and humanity.”

Sources state that a GoFundMe account was launched on her behalf with fellow celebrities such as Marlon Wayans, Tiffany Haddish, Charlamagne Tha God, Sherri Shepherd and Byron Allen donating $5,000 each. Reports read that her longtime friend and filmmaker Tyler Perry has also come forward to donate $400,000 towards her new home.

Reports read that Cocoa’s Fayetteville, GA home went up in flames on Monday February 19th. It has been indicated that the fire possibly started following a lit candle that fell onto a batch of clothes.

With a GoFundMe goal of $100,000 ; friend and supporters of Cocoa have donated over $70,000 this time.

“We’re launching a fundraising campaign to assist Cocoa and Phoenix as they embark on this journey to start anew. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in helping them rebuild what was lost,” the fundraiser — signed by “Team Cocoa Brown”

The displayed statement continues, “Let’s come together as a community to show Cocoa Brown and Phoenix that they are not alone. Together, we can help them find light in the midst of darkness and pave the way for a brighter future.”
