Cousins! For the entire month of March, the fully Black-owned platform of the Impact Network has announced their plans to show appreciation in celebration of Women’s History!
The Impact Network has further expanded its initiative in airing family-friendly content that uplifts, educates, and encourages the Black community with stories distinctly created on behalf of the culture.
“The network has rebranded the month Women’s Celebration Month with its Women of Impact campaign that celebrates the impact of Black female voices, stories, and accomplishments across various sectors,” reads an issued press release.
“The array of stars that will grace their screen during the month in powerful, female, Black leading roles will include Angela Bassett, Danielle Brooks, Mary J. Blige, and Kierra Sheard-Kelly with Executive producers Missy Elliot, and Queen Latifah to name a few.
It has been indicated that the Impact’s recently relaunch comes shortly after securing a multi-year content licensing deal with A+E Media Group®

- The SAG Award, Critics’ Choice, and NAACP Image Award nominated movie Betty & Coretta starring multi – award winning and Academy Award nominated actress, Angela Bassett and nine-time Grammy Award Winning artist, Mary J. Blige
- The NAACP Image Award-nominated motion picture. The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel from Grammy-winning executive produced by multi-award winners, Blige, Latifah, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliot
- The Real MVP-The Wanda Durant Story, an inspiring film and true story of NBA great Kevin Durant’s mother Wanda and her dedication to raise one of the greatest basketball players in the world and starring actress Cassandra Freeman (Peacock’s original series “Bel-Air.”)
- Robin Roberts’ Mahalia biopic starring Dainielle Brooks (The Color Purple) which chronicles the life of the gospel legend and civil rights trailblazer, Mahalia Jackson.
- Twist of Faith, Starring multi-Grammy Award winner, Toni Braxton, and David Julian Hirsh. A single Christian mother and an Orthodox Jewish widower share a passion for music that draws them together despite their different faiths.
- “GIRLFRIEND INTERVENTION” an 8-episode non-scripted series a makeover series that breaks down barriers between Black and white women as a team of four feisty, high-energy, Black female experts in various fields help transform white women’s lives by giving them their secrets to style & self-improvement.
