Cousins! Uncle Shannon Sharpe is out here catching tea one way or another!
During a live recording of ‘Night Cap’ with Shannon and Ocho Cinco, the ‘Club Shay Shay’ host put Saweetie in the hot seat as he dug up some old feelings in the Icy Girl‘s dating history.
Shannon asked Saweetie if she would ever spin the block on her previous relationship with Quavo after an awkward introduction.
“So I guess there’s no chance of you spinning the block is what it is,” asked Shannon after revealing he simply referred to Saweetie as Quavo’s ex girlfriend behind the scenes.
“I don’t really spin the block,” said Saweetie. “I don’t have a record of doing that, so no.”
“You ain’t meet the right one just yet,” added Shannon.
“We’ll if I met the right one I wouldn’t have to spin the block,” responded Saweetie.
As we previously reported Saweetie and Quavo broke up in 2021 after roughly three years together in the public eye.
Though neither of them fully addressed what transpired towards the end of their relationship, Saweetie confirmed their split on Twitter in saying she had been betrayed.
“I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
