Macy Gray Responds To Claims That Her Son Abused Her Following Reports That Her Daughter Has Been Granted A Restraining Order!

Cousins! Singer Macy Gray is speaking out following alarming headlining news that her son has been allegedly physically and verbally abusive to her and members of their family!

According to Page Six, Macy’s daughter Aanisah came forward in a Los Angeles Superior court where she issued claims that Tracy threatened her and struck their mother.

“Tracy got into a physical altercation with my mom,”reads obtained court documents. “He followed her and harassed her as he always does when he drinks.”

In an exclusive statement to People Magazine Macy denies recent allegations regarding her son Tracy Melvin. “Me and my son love each other and he would never think of causing me any physical harm. Outside of that, like any family, we have our issues and we’re dealing with it.”

Aanisah alleges in court documents that her boyfriend Cornel Pearson tried to step in, in an effort of stopping the dispute from further escalating. She says that Tracy allegedly attacked him as well when he tried to intervene.

“We waited for the cops to come while he continued to bang on the doors of our rooms looking for confrontation,” says the 29 year old of the February 3rd incident.

She says that Tracy carried on and continued to “harass” their family relatives and at ultimately“pushed” her.

Aanisah says that locks authorities advised her to file a restraining order because there was visual proof of the incident at hand.

She also told officials that her young brother becomes abusive “every time he drinks, normally monthly.”

Further within the filed document, Aanisah says she is afraid of her brother, while indicating that she does not want Tracy to have access to her home. She is currently pregnant and expecting her first child in September.

Los Angeles Superior Court granted a temporary restraining order until the next court hearing, scheduled for Feb. 27, reports Page Six.
