After going viral throughout social media in a video discussing the many layers to their union Zonnique Pullins and #BandHuntaIzzy are setting the record straight on a couple of things!
Despite the couple being fully transparent about their relationship or lack thereof, social media users called out the pair for certain statements. While also pushing for Zonnique to stand up for herself, users insist that she’s better off single.
As we previously reported Izzy and Zonnique had discussed whether they’d be together or not if they didn’t share a daughter. The father of four explained that they wouldn’t be together and that he knew that Zonnique wanted a two-parent household and that’s what made him tolerate certain things.
“You block me all the time. Every time you get an attitude, you block me. And that’s why I said that outside part, because it’s like, well, like damn, a n—a could really be trying to contact you about something serious,” said Izzy.
“I have four kids, and this is the only child I was in the household with from start to finish. But I would’ve kicked you to the curb,” he added.
After receiving backlash online for his comments and folks accusing Zonnique of settling, Izzy doubled down on his previous statements.
“And then y’all took when I said if the baby wasn’t involved like I just wouldn’t want to be here if there wasn’t a baby involved,” Izzy said. “Wouldn’t I be with my two other baby mothers if a baby could really make a n—a stay? I want to be here because I want to be here.”
He also addressed comments made after he referred to Zonnique as his ‘Coretta’ in a tweet.
