Cousins, Bishop TD Jakes has made it clear that he is aware of the rumors surrounding him attending Diddy’s alleged freak-off parties while noting there is a time and place where he will address it. However, he confirms that he will not be addressing the circulated claims anytime soon.
In case you are unfamiliar, Jakes began to trend throughout social media recently regarding rumors insisting that he was gay and attended Diddy’s alleged sex parties regularly. He was also associated with the term ‘Power Bottom’ as he’s been accused of having excessive sex with men.
“I didn’t come to convince you or nobody, because I know who I am,” said Jakes during a recent service at his church streamed on YouTube .
“That is not what this is about, you can think about whatever you want to think. I came to do my job, I came to prothesis as I was commanded. I came to hear the master say, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant.’”
Jakes added, “I will not use this sacred day at this sacred pulpit to address a lie when I have a chance to preach the truth.”
Following news of the circulated rumors throughout social media, a spokesperson for Jakes issued a written statement.
“Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless,” wrote Jordan A. Hora, executive director of public relations and communications for the T.D. Jakes Group, T.D. Jakes Ministries and The Potter’s House.
“What has always been true, in the words of the late Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon, ‘If you want the truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it,” he added.
