Romeo Miller Reveals That His Youngest Daughter River Rose Has Been Diagnosed With Type 1 Diabetes!

Cousins! Please join us in sending love and prayers to Romeo Miller alongside his family as he has recently revealed his eldest daughter has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes!

Within a heartwarming post to Instagram on Friday November 24th, Romeo shared his daughter River Rose journey while referring her to as a “Fighter” and the strongest person he knows.

“River Rose Miller aka my little rocket! Before I go to bed tonight, on this special day I give thanks to you and for you. Behind that comely smile, there’s a fighter! I’ve never met a stronger human and I thank God every day for assigning me to be your papa,” Romeo write while sharing why he is thankful for her.

The series of video clips show Romeo, River and his youngest daughter Winter both of which he shares with his fiancée Drew Sangster.

“At her age, there are many challenges and random sleep overs at the hospital, but our faith has never wavered and little sister Winter and Mama Drew are always by her side. The silver lining? Our bond is even stronger because it’s a must I be there for my daughter medically.”

According to the Mayo Clinic website Type 1 diabetes also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes. It is described as a chronic condition that prohibits the pancreas from creating a sufficient amount of insulin.

“Insulin is a hormone the body uses to allow sugar (glucose) to enter cells to produce energy.”

It has been indicated that various factors can cause Type 1 diabetes including genetics and some viruses.

Romeo also announced that River’s journey has inspired him to utilize his platform to help spread awareness. “We have some exciting news coming soon! The @mylittlerocketco is an all purpose company and charity inspired by my daughter and owned by my daughter. Romans 8:28 🌍🙏🏾”

He added,”You never know what someone is going through, so be kind.”
