Lori Harvey And Damson Idris Confirm Their Split Within A Joint Statement, “We Are At A Point In Our Lived Where Our Individual Paths Require Our Full Attention And Dedication”

Cousins! After dating for a little over a year Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have decided to call their relationship quits!

Within a shared joint statement to the Hollywood Reporter Lori and Damson expressed, “We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”

The former couple confirmed their romance in December of 2022.

Earlier this year Damson shared that he had leaned received advice from his fellow peers on how to navigate dating within the entertainment industry.

“Just understanding that you don’t always have to show the world your personal life and that what you do for a living is an extension of yourself, and that’s your baby,” said Damson.

“And you need to protect that. You also need to protect your personal self too. And, of course, it’s the topic of gossip, and the blogs want to talk about that over the work. I see that a lot. But they’ll get over it soon enough. And in a couple days, someone else will be dating, and then they’ll leave me alone.”

As we previously reported, social media users began to speculate the two had broken up after they seemingly unfollowed one another on Instagram. Both Lori and Damson also cleaned the social media feeds of their pictures together.
