Kelly Rowland Confirms That There Is Currently No Destiny’s Child Reunion In The Work, “Should There Be A Space For That, We’ll See What Happens..”

Cousins! We hate to burst y’all bubble, but if you had your hopes up high for a Destiny’s Child reunion in the near future the chances are definitely slim!

Kelly Rowland has shared in an exclusive interview with The Messenger that all three Destiny’s Child members are actively working on their own solo projects.

The 42 year old explained, “With] Bey wrapping up Renaissance and getting ready for her movie, Michelle in the thick of her solo projects that she’s doing, and me in my solo space and all the things that I’m doing, that’s where my head is.”

Kelly went on to acknowledge that this year does mark the group’s 25th anniversary and that she does understands fans eagerness for them to reunite.

“There’s so much energy around DC right now,” she says. However her solomorojexr is her first priority right now.

“That’s where my heart is. That’s what I’m most excited about, with all due respect to Destiny’s Child. And should there be a space for that, we’ll see what happens. But as for right now, I’m so excited as to what I’m doing.”

Kelly has successfully juggled both music and acting since the ladies ventured out on their own. From countless television and film appearances to millions of sold records, Kelly has led an impactful career.

The mother of two recently celebrated 21 years since the release of her debut solo album Simply Deep.

“I can’t believe that I made my first solo album 21 years ago! 🤯 THANK YOU to everyone who has supported and loved me through this entire journey! I love you guys so much!!! 🙏🏾🩵,” she wrote on X.

According to Vibe Magazine, buzzing of an expected reunion kicked off online following word that four out of five Destiny’s Child group members are set to appear on Terrell Grice’s show next month.

Terrell’s season six grand finale will allow viewers an extended full week of episodes featuring Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Kelly.

“Outtakes from Williams’ episode will air on Monday (Nov. 6) with LeToya Luckett‘s episode airing on Tuesday (Nov. 7), LaTavia Roberson‘s episode premiering on Wednesday (Nov. 8) and Rowland’s episode—to conclude the week of nostalgia—will debut on Thursday (Nov. 9).
