NYPD Currently Investigating Man Accused Of Hurling Anti-LGBT Remarks At A Woman On The Subway Before Breaking Her Nose!

Cousins! The New York Police Department’s Hate Crimes Unit is actively investigating an incident involving a male that is said to have broken a woman’s nose while on the subway!

According to ABC News, the incident occurred on Thursday, August 24th around 1:15 pm. A 22-year-old victim told local officials that an unidentified suspect grabbed her butt as they waited for a southbound J train in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn.

It has been stated that the two individuals do not personally know one another.

Reports read that the victim and the suspect ended up in the same car. The male is said to have spewed anti-LGBT remarks towards the victim as he then punched her face and body.

Sources state that the male then ran out of the cart and fled the scene at the Delancy and Essex Street station stop in Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

According to CBS News after being treated at a local hospital, the woman learned that she had a fractured nose.

Pix 11 News reports that the suspect was arrested over the weekend.
