Cousins! The tragic murder of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur has received a recent update as Las Vegas officials confirm a search warrant has been issued recently.
AP News reports that a law enforcement source has come forward in stating, “LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation.”
Las Vegas officials state that no further details have been made available at this time. “We will have no further comment at this time.”
Department spokesperson Aden OcampoGomez shares that he could not provide further details on the latest development in the case, including whether it was served at a home or a business, citing the open investigation.
It has been indicated that the state of Nevada does not have a statute of limitations for prosecuting homicide cases.
Tupac was gunned down on September 7th 1996 after attending a boxing match in Vegas alongside Suge Knight . He is said have had occupied a Black Sedan on Las Vegas Boulevard when a white Cadillac pulled up alongside him and began shooting.
After five days of hospitalization Tupac sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at 25 years old.
The Hollywood walk of famer’s murder remains a myster 27 years later as no arrests have been made at this time.
