A part of ordered regulations the Canadian rapper is said to be held away from the general population in efforts of ensuring his safety. Tory is said to be currently held within an administrative segregation unit. TMZ reports that the 31-year-old is allowed out of his cell for two hours per day and that he receives recreation time for 3 hours per week.
It has been indicated that Tory will remain within Los Angeles County Jail until he is transferred to prison where he will carry out his ten-year sentencing for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
With minimal details provided at this time in connection to Tory’s prison stay, reports read that the move is scheduled to occur sometime next month.
TMZ says that a source noted to them that officials check in on Tory as well as other administrative segregated inmates regularly upon a thirty-minute interval per hour.
At this time Tory is able to stock up on snacks and goods as part of commissary. He will reportedly be able to take the items and whatever money he has on his books when he is officially transferred.
In a statement posted to his Instagram page he expressed that he is staying strong despite his circumstances.
“I have never let a hard time intimidate me. I will never let no jail time eliminate me. Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will.”
