Cousins! Snoop Dogg is the latest celebrity to donate to the GoFundMe campaign created on behalf of a 93 year old woman fighting to keep her families historic land!
According to People Magazine, Snoop donated $10,000 dollars through his longtime record label of Death Row Records to Josephine Wright.“I did it from the heart,” Snoop Dogg told CNN in a statement. “She reminds me of my mother and grandmother.”
As we previously reported Josephine is currently in a legal battle with developers for her Hilton Head Island home in South Carolina. She is currently being sued upon claims that her satellite dish, shed and screened-in porch are holding up planned construction on new homes.
Josephine has since filed a countersuit arguing that developers are using ruthless tactics in hopes of intimidating her with harassment and trespassing while forcing her to sell her property.
Other celebrities such as Kyrie Irving and Tyler Perry have also chimed in to help assist Jospehine in her own going fight to keep her family
