Cousins! It’s been a little minute since the Atlanta-based pop group of the OMG Girlz stormed the music scene, however following an eight-year hiatus the original baddies are back and better than ever!
With an official reunion, a newly released single, and new projects on the way; we are more than excited to announce that the girls we all know and love have matured into grown women entering new chapters in life.
We had the pleasure of Kicking it One on One with in a special girl chat discussion featuring the OMG Girlz (Officially Miss Guided ) members Zonnique Pullins, Bahja Rodriguez, and Breaunna Womack.
The ladies spoke candidly about their experiences growing up in the public eye as child celebrities within the music industry and how they’ve been able to maintain their stardom while also remaining fully grounded. “We’ve been blessed to grow up with our fans throughout the years,” said Zonninque.
” As a group, we’ve received mentorship from some of the best entertainers within the music industry,’ added Baja.
The OMG Girlz were originally founded in 2009 by legendary songstress and Xscape group member Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris.
The group initially appeared on the fan-favorite reality television series such as The Tiny & Toya Show including T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. However their rise to fame came following the official release of their first single “Gucci This, ( Gucci That )” upon signing to Tiny’s Pretty Girl Hustle record label.
In 2011 the girls rightfully landed a spot on the Scream: Next Generation tour concert series.
The OMG Girlz success continued to grow as they released additional hit songs such as ‘Where the Boyz At” and “Baddie”.
From top charting singles, award nominations, vibrant hair colors and swagged out stylings; the OMG girlz single handily influenced an entire generation of girls.
