Cousins! Iconic rapper Jay-Z received the honor of a lifetime within his native stomping grounds of NYC at the Brooklyn Public Library!
Fans came from all over this week to capture images and video clips of the library fully covered in some of Jay’s most legendary song lyrics.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 53-year-old was literally shocked upon his arrival to the exhibit on Thursday as he saw some of his own words plastered all over the outside of the building.
Sources state that inside the exhibit attendees were able to enjoy a live band that played some of Jay’s hit songs as they toured The Book of Hov. Jay’s mother Gloria Carter was present including his daughter Blue Ivy and wife Beyonce.
Fellow celebrities such as Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Ella Mai, Big Daddy Kane, Questlove, Lil Uzi Vert, Babyface, Victor Cruz, Jerrod Carmichael, Miguel, Fat Joe, Jayson Tatum, Ella Mai, Angie Martinez, Charlamagne tha God, Tamika Mallory, June Ambrose, Kevin Liles, Big John, Steve Stoute, Michael Rubin, Stephen Hill, Zane Lowe, Tinashe, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez and more were also in attendance.
The exhibit is said to include photos and displays of Jay-Z from different magazines and album covers, including various awards and honors.
