Cousins! The ongoing legal battle between former couple Stevie J and Faith Evans is officially in the final stages of their divorce!
According to court documents obtained by the Blast, the father of six filed a statement of disclosure earlier this week in a Los Angeles court. The paperwork lists all of Stevie’s finances in detail. Filing such documents is identified as an important step in a divorce as it confirms that an individual has surrendered information pertaining to their finances.
Though nothing has been confirmed at this time, the outlet hints that this is the final step within Stevie and Faith’s divorce as they may move on to a settlement. It has been indicated that the terms of their divorce have not been publicly released, however, neither of the two signed a prenuptial agreement when they tied the knot in 2018.
As we previously reported Stevie had requested spousal support.
According to Hip Hop DX, the drama between the estranged couple has only began to simmer down recently especially after Stevie was ordered to return Faith’s vechile after she claimed he stole it and drove to Coachella.
Faith is said to have obtained an emergency motion to have her 2023 Mercedes Sprinter Van returned back in April. The singer explained that Stevie allegedly stole it while she was sleeping and made his way to the festival.
Faith claims she contacted Stevie and requested he return the vehicle, and that he declined. She then filed a police report indicating that the vehicle was stolen on April 12. A court approved her request and ordered the vehicle be returned immediately.
