Cousins! Former child star Raven Symone is spilling the tea on how she’s been able to protect herself across the board when it comes down to relationships with previous lovers!

The Disney legend recently appeared on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast where she revealed that she has asked everyone she’s ever dated to sign an NDA in order to prevent them from ever speaking on the personal elements of their relationships publicly. “All of my relationships, especially, obviously, when I started dating, I had to get people to sign NDAs”.

She said, “It took me a while to wrap my head around it because it’s very impersonal, but someone in our position needs to do that.”

Raven was asked when does she present the paperwork to her romantic partners for them to sign. She revealed that they basically take care business before they move any further. “No, I’m serious — right before naughty time comes.”

“Welcome to being a celebrity in Hollywood nowadays,” the 37 year old stated jokingly. ”It’s true though nowadays, hashtags, real life, they change the dynamic of having an intimate relationship with somebody.”

Raven says that even her wife Miranda Pearnan-Maday had to sign a NDA and that it was a bit awkward for her personally. “We were in New York. We were in this outdoor French type of restaurant, and my mom had been bugging me,” Raven said.

“She was like, ‘You got to get it signed. I’m like, ‘She’s from the industry.’ And my mom was bugging me.”

Raven admitted that the paperwork of things was different in Miranda’s case because she personally made her feel different.

“We both were like, ‘This takes away the genuineness of it all, but we also understood that we live in Hollywood. She knows who she is. So she did it.”

The two later tied the knot in 2020.

“Miranda, she talks differently,” the actress said of her current dynamic with her wife. “She asks me questions like I’ve never been asked before but then has wonderful conversation to go with it after — no judgment. She has her own flaws that she’s allowing me to help her with and vice versa.”
