Damson Idris Speaks On Relationship With Lori Harvey And Wanting To Keep Their Connection As Normal As Possible,” Just Understanding That You Don’t Always Have To Show The World Your Personal Life”

Cousins! As fans gear up for the final season of FX original series ‘Snowfall’ , the show’s leading guy Damson Idris has been seemingly making headlines for his personal life as well as his highly anticipated performance!

While appearing on the red carpet for the Los Angeles based red carpet premiere for the fan favorite series, Damson was asked about his union and high profile relationship with the beautiful Lori Harvey, reports the New York Post.

Damson says in regards to his relationship going public he says that he protects him and Lori’s connection and outside chatter by staying home and hiding in a cave. “I think my advice to anyone who walks down that path is to just keep it as regular and normal as possible and really, really connect to each other and not the outside forces around.

The British actor says that he leans on his peers within the industry and learns from them through conversation and experience on how to insure privacy within his relationship.

Just understanding that you don’t always have to show the world your personal life and that what you do for a living is an extension of yourself, and that’s your baby,” said Damson.

“And you need to protect that. You also need to protect your personal self too. And, of course, it’s the topic of gossip, and the blogs want to talk about that over the work. I see that a lot. But they’ll get over it soon enough. And in a couple days, someone else will be dating, and then they’ll leave me alone.”

Damson revealed that he endured a series of mixed emotions when indulging in the final table read of Snowfall. “I was crying like a little baby at the table read,” he said. “I said to everyone, ‘I’ll save the tears for later and the goodbyes for never.’ But just reading those lines and going from scene to scene and closing that script … I already felt like it was a job well done even before we started filming the finale.”

The British actor says that last day of filming was very interesting for him.“…It was such a whirlwind of a day and I was extremely exhausted,” he said.

“And I got to a point in the day where I said to myself, ‘OK, I’m ready. I’m ready to go home, ready to end this.’ And then they yelled, ‘Cut. And that’s a wrap on Damson Idris.’ And all of a sudden I didn’t want to go home anymore.”

Cousins, be sure to tap into the sixth and final season kicking off Wednesday February 22nd on FX at 10PM.
