Cousins! Exciting news for ‘BMF’ fans as it’s officially been confirmed that not one but two familiar faces will be joining the roster for the upcoming season. Grammy award winning artist 2 Chains and Ne-Yo are set to appear in recurring roles for season 3!
According Variety, 2 Chainz is set to take on the role of Stacks, a distributor originally from Atlanta whose presence and overall aura demands respect. “Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style,” reads a description from Starz .
Ne-Yo will portray the role Rodney “Greeny” Green, another Atlanta native and multi-dimensional player. He is described as being fully invested into the act of making money. While he oozes swagger and an entrepreneurial spirit, Greeny has more to him that lies beneath the surface.
As we previously reported BMF had been renewed for a third season just a few days after their season two premiere. The series had over 4.1 million viewers across all platforms and streaming services within the first aired episode.
“BMF captures the essence of Detroit through elevated, gritty storytelling and our fans have passionately responded to this show more than ever before,” says Kathryn Busby, president original programming at Starz in a previously forwarded statement.
Executive producer Curtis ‘50 cent’ Jackson also announced 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo join the cast on his verified Instagram account.
Cousins, are y’all here for the new addition?
