Cousins! Defamed music icon R. Kelly is calling out the Lifetime network on claims of ruining his life following the release of the ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ docuseries!

The Chicago native had a mouth-full to say in response to recently aired ‘Surviving R. Kelly : Final chapter,’ as further allegations surrounding sexual assault with minors have been pushed to the forefront. In response to the exceedingly growing mountain of backlash Kelly has received he spoke on how things have changed within his life over the last four years.

‘As far as Lifetime is concerned, there are real people, real women out here really being abused and really missing. That are really chained up in basements. I’ve been in here four years I haven’t seen one person that was chained up in a basement come forward or anything,”said Kelly within a recent call.

Kelly explains that he was freely minding his own business before the release of the ‘Surviving R.Kelly,’ docuseries which he feels ultimately erupted his life. He says that if the claims were true the victims should have rightfully went to the nearest police station “instead of making movies.”.

“But I tell you one thing before Lifetime came out I was minding my business; I was in the studio, I was working with celebrities, I had tours. But when Lifetime came out all of that went away.”

He continued in saying, “Meaning before Lifetime came out I had on charges no one went against me. No one had went to radio station or a police station it took a year to put together. If all of the things they said I did on Lifetime were true it would only take a minute to go to a police station.”

Following the 2019 release of ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ an official investigation was launched which led to the uncovering of a series of tapes of Kelly engaging in sexual acts with minors.

Within the last four year Kelly’s empire literally crumbled as his former employee’s admitted to assisting in setting up travel plans and hotel stays for underage children to be with him.

According to the official Immigration and Customs Enforcement website United States District Judge Ann M. Donnelly sentenced Kelly to 30 years in prison on June 29 of last year.

Back in 2021 he was convicted on nine counts of a superseding indictment charging him with racketeering predicated on criminal conduct including sexual exploitation of children, forced labor and Mann Act violations involving the coercion and transportation of women and girls in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sexual activity.
