Cousins! 50 Cent and his G-Unity foundation took to the streets of Texas to give back to residents, just in time for the holidays!
Alongside the Houston Rockets and Kroger, 50 cent’s G-Unity foundation helped distribute a total of 1,000 turkeys and meals to Texas residents for Thanksgiving.
According to Fox 26 news, the drive up event was open to the public on a first come first server basis, but they encouraged families in need to attend. The curbside event took place early Tuesday morning November 22nd outside of the Toyota Center near Polk Street.
The distributed meals were limited to one per vehicle and included items donated by G-Unity Foundation, Kroger and Spec’s. Along with the food folks were provided a ticket voucher to an upcoming Rockets home game.
The multi-hyphenated mogul has a long-standing relationship with the Rockets in connection to his G-Unity foundation, reports Click 2 Houston. Together they are working hard to insure the advancement of the community by providing different opportunities and initiatives.
