A teacher has racked up millions of views on Tiktok after revealing she spent a total of 5 hours in a airplane bathroom after testing positive for Covid while on board!

Marisa Fotieo was traveling from Newark, New Jersey to Iceland recently when she says her throat began to bother her. She explained that she had access to a rapid test while on board, and that the results came back positive.

According to ABC news, she alerted crew members and immediately began to self-isolate within the airplane’s bathroom.

She then documented her 5-hour isolation stay on the platform of TikTok within a shared video that now has more than 4M views. ‘Shout out to @Icelandair for my VIP quarantine quarters,’ reads Marisa’s caption.

Marisa tells local news that the flight attendants and staff members were very polite and attentive due to her unexpected bathroom stay.

“Their flight attendants are so positive and so kind, and they just put everybody at ease the second that this happened. They put me at ease, which is why I think I was so willing to stay in that bathroom.”
