According to reports from Power 1051, details surrounding his passing have not yet been confirmed despite circulating rumors throughout social media. So far it has been indicated that an incident of some sort occurred between late Thursday night and early Friday morning.
News of his passing came fourth following a series of super heavy and emotional posts along with tributes from E Dot’s friends, fellow artists Dudeylo, PGF Nuk, Sha Ek and his girlfriend.
The media outlet On Smash says, “the 17-year-old native of the Sugar Hill section of Harlem died from a self inflicted shot to the head.”
It was shared that EDot was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased on arrival.
E Dot debuted his first studio album earlier this year back in March. His hit single “Ride the O” has secured over 3 million listens on Spotify. He will forever be praised for his contributions to music and being considered one of the founding fathers of Drill Rap in Harlem during the late 2010’s era.
