Drill rapper and Chicago native FBG Cash was shot and killed on the south side of Chicago. Known as Tristian Hamilton, authorities identified the 32-year-old as the victim.
Aam gunman got out of his vehicle and fired multiple shots at the artist’s car. ABC7 Chicago reports that police had responded to a shooting around 5:32am within Auburn Gresham neighborhood’s 1600 block of West 81st Street.
FBG was transported to a local hospital, where he sadly passed away. A 29-year-old woman was also present in the vehicle with Hamilton and survived.
The woman is said to have sustained gunshot wounds to her left arm and upper back. Officials state she was under serious condition as she was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center.
The authorities have yet to take anybody into custody. It has been indicated that the suspect fled the scene in a black four-door sedan.
FBG Cash was a part of the “Fly Boy Gang,” and was gearing up to premiere his new video “Crazy Lane.”
