Would you like to see Wendy Williams on TV again? You might get your wish because rumor has it– she might appear on The View!

As a radio icon and TV host Wendy has created a lot of shock-value throughout her career and with her self titled talk show coming to an end, many people are questioning her next big move. Though that may still be in the air reportedly, there are talks of having her join The View.

According to Yahoo, a source tells Radar Online that there’s an open invitation for Williams to join the ladies of The View; but as a guest host. 

“The buzz within ABC is Wendy could well be joining The View,” a source said. “There is an offer for her to appear on the show whenever she wants. The open invitation has made it very clear that when Wendy wants to give her first TV interview since losing her own show, there will always be a seat at the table for her.”

Now, Williams would not be a permanent host. But her guest appearances could lead to her having a permanent spot. 

“It would be a chemistry test for Wendy with Whoopi [Goldberg] and the ladies,” an ABC source added. “It would not be the first time The View snapped up a new co-host who had previously had their own show. When Rosie O’Donnell joined, their numbers went through the roof.”

Despite The Wendy Williams Show not returning, this is not stopping Williams as she promised she will be back “bigger and brighter than ever.”

“Give me about three months,” she told Good Morning America about her return to television. “There are private things that I have to deal with and then I’ll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing.”

With all this current drama surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, it would be interesting to hear what she had to say. Come back soon Wendy! We miss you.
