Cardi B is definitely no new comer in using her social media presence to express her inner most thoughts and feelings. In the same sense she often utilizes her platform to call out injustice around the world.

A few years back, she was the very first celebrity to speak out on the Bronx , New York murder of slain teen Justice For Junior . Fast forward to present date she’s being praised for brining awareness to the tragic death of Connecticut resident Lauren Smith Fields!

As we previously reported Lauren, 23 passed way in December 2021 while on a date with a man she met on the Bumble dating app that she had only known for 2-3 days.

On Monday a medical examiner stated her death was due to an accidental overdose. However due to immediate backlash and pressure from the public on Tuesday it was stated that a criminal investigation would be opened.

The attorney for the family tells TMZ that it was Cardi’s series of tweets from Sunday that helped Lauren’s tragic death gain traction to become a criminal case. The out pour from the public lead to the police launching an official investigation.

Together Lauren’s family thanks Cardi for her tweet that demanded Justice For Lauren because it made a major impact with a lot more progress.
