Cousins!

One half of the rapping duo Rae Sremmurd has been arrested following reports of an alleged attack against his girlfriend and mother to his son. However, she’s recently taken to social media to say that the claims aren’t accurate!

TMZ originally broke the story, indicating that an issue arised between Slim Jxmmi’ and his girlfriend early Tuesday morning. Allegedly the rapper became upset after she questioned him about a woman he was following on his Twitter account.

According to statements obtained by TMZ, local police officials say that  Slim’s girlfriend told them that he left their home with a friend soon after their argument and returned a little later smelling as if he had consumed alcohol.

She reportedly told them that when she attempted to move their son from his playpen to a bed, Slim allegedly pulled her hair so hard that he tore her extensions her scalp.

Following circulated reports the alleged victim responded “Oh wow. This is cap. Dade County y’all are wrong for this. I told you guys he did not hit me. Every officer you guys had in my face are wrong for this. No hands were put on anybody, I stated it more than once. It was a loud argument and the police were called. You guys turn nothing into something. It’s our sons first birthday tomorrow, what’s wrong with y’all?”

Police say that the girlfriend originally told them  she tried to record the entire incident from her cellphone, but he became more upset and reportedly chased her around their home.

They state she even told them that she had to run to another room and closed the door, but Slim allegedly kicked the door down, snatched her phone away, and threw it over a balcony.

Cops say the phone was recovered undamaged, on a nearby street when they were called to the scene.
