The cat is officially out of the bag as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio officially confirms he will not be running for New York Governor!

“No, I am not going to be running for governor in New York state,” says de Blasio within a recently uploaded video to Twitter. He continues in stating that he will, “devote every fiber of my being to fighting inequality in the state of New York.” However running for election is just not in the cards for him.

He continues in admitting that though he has made numerous mistakes while in office he believes that his efforts has implemented many areas of change.

Fox News reports, read that de Blasio claimed that he “changed things in this town,” in regards to free pre-K, “hundreds of thousands of affordable apartments,” the Green New Deal, and cutting carbon emissions.

While also speaking on the pandemic, in saying that New York City went from the most dramatically effected area of the Coronavirus to numbers of positive cases decreasing tremendously.
