A Brooklyn, New York teacher has been arrested after allegedly kissing a 13 year old student on the lips while at school!

Michael D’Anna, 41 of PS IS 30 in Bay Ridge was reportedly caught by the school’s assistant principal in the act, reports the New York Post.

Sources state that Michael has been with the Department of Education for over 10 years and worked at IS 30 since 2013. It has been indicated that an initial check did not reveal any prior misconduct by Michael.

Officials are currently seeking to have him terminated and placed in a administrative post away from children until he is officially fired.

“The school immediately reported this deeply concerning allegation, and this individual has been removed from the school while we follow the necessary steps to pursue termination,” stated DOE spokeswoman Katie O’Hanlon. 

“The safety of our students is our top priority, and we are cooperating fully with the police department to assist with the investigation.”

Michael is currently being charged with sexual abuse of a child.
