The New York Police Department has announced earlier this week that they are offering $10,000 for the murder of Kristal Bayron-Nieves after she was shot in the torso at a local Burger King in NYC located on East 116th Street in East Harlem, reports NBC news. An additional $10,000 is being offered by magnate John Catsimatidis.

It has been indicated that an unidentified male walked into the fast food chain around 12:45 AM flashing a gun and demanding money from employees.

Shortly after his arrival he pistol whipped a manager and a customer. The teen fully cooperated and gave him all of the money within the register which was only $100 at the time. Prior to his exit the masked male shot Kristal before rushing out.

The teen was rushed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Sources confirm that Kristal lived in the neighborhood and had only been working there a couple of weeks. She had informed both her manager and mother that she didn’t want to work the late shift because it was too dangerous. Her mom says she regrets encouraging her daughter to work there, as she would wake her up each night telling her she had to be responsible.

Cousins! If you or anyone you may know has information on this horrific incident please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
