Countless drivers have been stuck on I-95 for over 20+ hours following a multiple car accident paired with over a foot of snow within a mid-Atlantic storm!
According to NBC news, the Virginia Department of Transportation has recently confirmed that I-95 has been closed from exit 104 to exit 152.
Reports read that U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine is also amongst those stuck on the road. He took to Twitter tweeting that’s he’s been stuck in traffic for at least 19 hours also.
“I started my normal 2 hour drive to DC at 1pm yesterday. 19 hours later, I’m still not near the Capitol.”
Sources have confirmed that local officials are currently removing debris of the road as well as disabled vehicles to help reroute drivers at this time.
