There may be a little sign of hope for people who want to win the Powerball lottery, after there were no ticket matches during Monday’s Powerball drawing. Yesterday’s price is not today’s price for the price is high!
The estimated total increased from $575 million to $610 million on Wednesday’s drawing, making it the ninth-largest jackpot in the game’s history!
According to CNN, it has been three months since someone hit the Powerball jackpot. The single ticket in California raked in a $699.8 million grand prize on October 4th, making it the seventh-largest in US lottery history. Since that single ticket, there have been 39 drawings in a row without a jackpot winner.
Now the odds of winning a prize are 1 to 24.9, but the odds of winning a Powerball are 1 in 292.2 million. Tickets are sold at $2 and drawings are on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
As soon as I get done writing this, I’m about to head towards the nearest store and see if I can win this money. Because I honestly need it!
