It is with an extremely heavy heart that we inform you all of the passing of beloved UTFO rapper Kangol kid!

According to multiple circulated reports the legendary artist has passed away at 55 years old following a long battle with colon cancer.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms, Kangol Kid also known as Shaun Shiller Fequiere passed away around 3AM on Saturday in a hospital located in Manhasset, New York. It has been stated that he was diagnosed with cancer back in February of this year.

Kid will forever be remembered for sporting his signature look of the ever popular Kangol hat and being a member of the legendary UTFO group.
The four-member group “Untouchable Force Organization” was known for their 1980s hits such as “Roxanne, Roxanne” and “Ya Cold Wanna Be With Me.”
