As officials continue to take a deeper look into the tragic occurrences at this year’s AstroWorld festival, it has been reported that one of the security guards on the premises had been injected in his neck with drugs!

According to ABC 13 news, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said within a new conference earlier today a security guard working the festival attempting to restrain an attendee during the chaos, had felt a prick on his neck causing him to loose conscious.

“When he was examined, he went unconscious,” said Chief Finner. “(Medical staff) administered Narcan. He was revived, and the medical staff did notice a prick that was similar to a prick that you would get if someone was trying to inject.”

Investigators are still searching for the alleged security guard involved.

“A lot of narratives are out there right now on social media,” Chief Finner continues. “I think that all of us need to be respectful of the families and make sure we follow the facts and the evidence.”

He went on to speak upon the victims that were tragically trampled, and explained that investigators were working to secure footage of the festival from the event’s promoter LiveNation Entertainment.
