Cousins!
Grab your cups because I am about to give you all the tea you need!.
In a recent interview, the former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ castmate exposes a few eye-dropping gems about his time on the show. Let’s say it’s very JUICY! Talking to Travis Smiley from KBLA Talk 1580 radio on October 21, Isaiah Washington called his experience on the allegedly “toxic” environment as an example of mistreatment.
“Every single day I was a problem that was being reminded, ‘You’re No. 4 on the call sheet. You’re not the star of this show.”
As reported by US Weekly, in Washington’s perspective he was used as the scapegoat to cover up problems on the set. For instance, Washington used his 2007 firing when he allegedly used a homophobic slur. The ‘Living Single’ actor then referred to this as an example of the supposed “agenda.”
“It was easy. I didn’t know that it would stick to me so hard. But I found out why,” Washington claims. “It was an agenda to cover up for the toxic and bad behavior of many of my former castmates on that show, and the top of that would be Patrick Dempsey”.
Now, in this tell-all interview, Washington said some pretty shocking things that are wild and have you drinking tea for days. In detail, Washington claims he did not use the homophobic slur towards his castmate T.R. Knight. Entailing it was directed towards Dempsey because allegedly, Knight was not even in the room. The two men had a heated altercation when Dempsey was late. Instead of apologizing for being late, the actor then assaulted Washington three times, and felt he had to do what he needed to do, as a man.
“‘You’re not going to punk me, you’re not going to treat me like a B-word and you’re not going to treat me like an F-word,” Washington said he told Dempsey at the time. “I was speaking to myself as we refer to as a schoolyard taunt and weakness. Talking about myself. But I had already heard the abuse allegations regarding Kate Walsh…That he terrorized T. R. Knight.”
Now, hold up. There is more!

Also, Washington states that he was given 10,000 to take ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ audition. Then how the casting team was not happy with his appearance (casting told Washington that he needed to cut his locs and goatee), which resulted in Shonda Rhimes screaming at him the next day, asking him, “What did you f–king do?” Plus, how Dempsey was negative onset, and how Pompeo was given 5 million dollars under the table during the Me Too era “to not tell the world how toxic and nasty Patrick Dempsey really was.”
Honestly, cousins, this is too much! If this was the case, then Washington deserves some apology. What do you guys think?
