Say what you like about Nick Cannon, but there is no denying his inherent philanthropic nature. A serendipitous conversation with artists can sometimes lead to yet another behind the scenes story, about how the comedian helped uplift them or someone they know. In this case, he has agreed to manage Lil Kim’s acting career and help diversify her portfolio. 

According to Yahoo, Lil Kim shared she recently finished shooting a movie with Cannon, called ‘Miracle Across 125th Street’. The Brooklyn, New York rapper says he gave her encouragement, so she went ahead and took the role. She let us sip a little tea, and put us on to the fact that the actor-producer happens to be one of her BFFs!

“I just shot a movie with Nick Cannon… people don’t even know, like he’s one of my best friends,” she told the host King Keraun during their Hike along the Los Angeles trails. “We’ve been best friends for years … And we just shot a movie called Miracle Across 125th Street. I really did that movie for Nick, but I love doing movies.”

Kim shares that she has her sights set on expanding her empire in entertainment, while Nick hopes to take her career, in a whole new direction. Her new memoir is dropping November 2, 2021 and it’s titled “The Queen Bee”. Don’t count her out yet, she’s just getting her second wind!
