The country of Jamaica did their thang this weekend with the ultimate sweep at the Tokyo Olympics in the women’s 100 meters event; with star athlete Elaine Thompson-Herah making record breaking history!

Elaine finished with an Olympic record-setting time of 10.61, noted as the second-fastest time ever in the event’s history. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce finished second, by Shericka Jackson both repping Jamaica also.

According to Reuter’s the only person to ever beat Elaine’s time was the legendary #FlorenceGriffithJoyner aka Flo Jo with a record of 10.49
