Cousins!

A Missouri family has received a double blessing following the birth of a healthy baby girl delivered at the hands of their 9 year old daughter!

The once in a lifetime moment took place at home as her mom Angelica Gunn who is also a nurse went into labor more than a week earlier than her expected due date.

Reports read that Angelica is also a licensed Doula managed to help her young daughter stay calm and coached her through the entire process.

At only 9 years old Aakayla Gunn helped deliver her baby sister Aubree Rose born at 7 pounds and 9 ounces.

“I screamed for Aakayla to come in,”recalls Angelica. “I was just like, ‘You have to look. Something’s happening. Is her head coming out?’ And she’s like, ‘I can’t look.’ And I’m like, ‘You have to.’”

She says that within less than three pushes, Aubree was born and Aakayla caught her.

“She told me to go grab a towel, and don’t hold Aubree so hard, and give her to mommy.”

Sources have confirmed Angelica was on the phone with paramedics during the process.

“I’m happy, just blessed,” says the happy mom. “I’m glad that we’re both OK and that my daughter’s OK, and she’s not traumatized by the whole thing. She’s pretty excited about it.”
