Congratulations are in order as Tiffany Haddish has officially landed the starring role in the upcoming biopic film of Olympic track star legend Florence Griffith Joyner!
Florence also known to the world as Flo-Jo reigned as an iconic fashionista and athlete. From her stylish nails, and sports casual wear she made a statement each and every time she touched the field.
Not to mention to this day the three time Olympic gold medalist reigns as the fastest woman in the world holding the title with the 100- meter and 200 dash record.
“I am looking forward to telling Flo-Jo’s story the way it should be told,” said Tiffany in a in a statement following release of the big news.
“My goal with this film is making sure that younger generations know my ‘she-ro’ Flo-Jo, the fastest woman in the world to this day, existed.”
Flo Jo passed away tragically at only 38 years old following an epileptic seizure in September 1998.
According to Vulture Flo Jo’s husband Al Joyner will be apart of producing the film alongside companion projects.
