A Florida homeowner mistakenly shot a 10 year old boy after his property was targeted within a paintball drive-by!

According to NBC News Michael Williams, 26 has forwarded claims that his son had begged him to drive by a particular home while numerous people were gathering on Sunday so he could fire his paintball out the window.

Reports read that Michael drove by the home while his son released several rounds. The homeowner informed officials that they were confused by the paintball and mistaken it for actual gunfire and released one gunshot.

The young boy was hit in the chest, lost his balance and was then ran over by his dad’s car.

It has been indicated that Michael drove his son home and his mother called 911.

The father was charged with child neglect with great bodily harm, “acted recklessly by agreeing to conduct a drive-by paint ball shooting,” reads a police report.
