Cousins!

As we all are continuing to send prayers and well wishes to Pretty Ricky group member Baby Blue following an attempted robbery incident, he has taken to social media on his own merit to confirm that he’s currently on the road to recovery!

On Wednesday morning Baby Blue also known as Diamond Blue Smith took to Twitter to update bus fans on his current state of health.

The tweet reads,” Thankyou everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I’m still in ICU but I’m on the road to recovery. The bullet traveled throgh my lounges is in stuck in my back. I have to learn to breathe & walk again. I have a great medical team here at the hospital. God Got Me 🙏🏽 Love, Blue.”

Fellow Pretty Ricky group member and brother Spectacular has come forward prior to the released tweet and states that Blue is currently hooked up to a machine that is helping him with his breathing. He says that only his mother and father have been able to see him due to COVID restrictions, reports TMZ.

It has been indicated that within the brawl Blue attempted to grab the firearm from the gunmen to protect his cousin from being shot. Unfortunately the rapper was shot in his left shoulder with the bullet traveling through his lung.

As we previously reported Baby Blue and his cousin were in the parking lot of SpareZ Bowling Alley in Davie, Florida Monday around midnight when two unidentified gunmen attempted to rob them for a gold chain.

The gunmen are still at large at the time this article was published.
