Prayers Up: 7 Year Old Girl Fatally Shot At Local McDonald’s Drive Thru In Chicago; Police Searching For Gunman!

Chicago police officials are currently searching for the person responsible for shooting and killing a 7 year old girl at a local McDonald’s within the westside area of Chicago!

According to CNN News, the incident took place on Sunday April 18th as Jaslyn Adams, 7 and her father, 29 were taking a father daughter trip to McDonald’s when an unidentified person shot inside of their car.

Reports read that arriving officers rushed Jaslyn to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead from after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

It has been indicated that her father was shot in the torso and is currently hospitalized in serious condition.

‘It’s really emotional now for my family,” says Jaslyn’s aunt, Tawny McMullen to local news.

“She was just … sweet and outgoing. Really talkative, really lovable.”

She goes on to reveal that their entire family is truly heartbroken over the devastating incident and losing her niece at the hands of violence.

“Y’all, please put the guns down. Our kids want to play. My kids can’t even go out the door because of this violence. Please put the guns down.”

Mayor Lori Lightfoot took to social media in a tweet that read she is “heartbroken and angered” following the tragic incident.

“This unthinkable act of violence has no place here. The epidemic of gun violence cutting our children’s lives short cannot go on.”
