Breaking news confirms that former police officer Derek Chauvin will not testify within his own trial for the murder of George Floyd!
According to the NY Daily News Derek who is currently being charged for murder and manslaughter decided to use his fifth amendment right while in court on Thursday morning.

Sources have confirmed that Defense attorney Eric Nelson and Judge Peter Cahill asked repeatedly if Chauvin had carefully considered his rights and whether that was his final decision.
He replied “It is, your honor.”
